Looks like they sorted eachother out for us, Nice One !

New Zealand’s favourite motoring son, Greg Murphy took out the opening race at the PlaceMakers V8 International at Pukekohe Park Raceway today.

Murphy celebrated victory for his new Super Cheap Auto Holden team on his favourite circuit, controlling the opening 100kms race after the early demise of leaders Marcos Ambrose and Craig Lowndes who collided on the third turn of the opening lap.

1 Greg Murphy 51 Super Cheap Auto Racing Commodore
2 Russell Ingall 9 SBR Falcon
3 Mark Skaife 2 HRT Commodore
4 Steve Ellery 88 Team Betta Electrical Falcon
5 Marcos Ambrose 1 SBRacing Falcon
6 Paul Radisich 021 Team Kiwi Racing Commodore
7 Jason Bright 6 FPR Falcon
8 Todd Kelly 22 HRTeam Commodore
9 Paul Morris 67 Sirromet Life Style Wine Commodore
10 Jamie Whincup 23 Tasman Commodore

Holden 1st,
Holden 6 in top 10,

Come on you Reds !

Marcos must have throught that Craig was driving a holden huh. Must say haven't been to impressed with Marco's behaviour... if you can't beat them, run them off the track.

Yes mate, He has also been very lucky when involved in acidents, meaning he has come of ok & not lost many places or had a DNF. Notice Lowndes was the one that went of not MA.

Anyway Good old Greg Murphy for Holden won all 3 races & the HRT cars look fast, they just have to get better placed on the grid & Mark get a better start.

Just watch race 1, off now to watch race 2 & 3,

Go the Lion.

Yes mate, And without that Blue S**t in my team,

I should have had Murphy & the Rat (Radisich) in for the NZ event like you mate, thought of it but didn't do it.

I'll give you & your Team Forrdyman Team a run for the money with just a true Aussie Holden Team.

See Lowndes gave M.A. a bit of his own treatment in Race 3 on the first corner, pay back for Race 1, gives him a shove, but as usual M.A. was lucky again, only going across the infield at the s's then back on track only to loose 2 places.

Also not on the pace in Race 2 & 3 back in 5th, Skaifey 3rd, then lucky for M.A.the rain came down & his car is now faster so he moves up to 3rd.

I don't know.

Not much anywhere else !What do you call wining Bathurst 3 times then mate.

No he Knows pokahowy, well that track in NZ very well, as did the Rat, both coming from NZ, but also if you see the fact that the only person to win the event other than Murphy in the last 5 yrs was Jason (not so) Bright (going to F**D) & what car did he win in ? Yes it was the PWR car last year, the Team that Murphy drives for now.

Greg Murphy is a GREAT driver, but maybe the Kmart car was not always up to it. He was unluck in the first round this year at Adelaide, gearbox went.

All the best,
Rob.

Hay mick what happened to your Team then ?

At the end of last season, I am pretty sure they played musical cars!
Pretty sure one of the KMART cars now lives with the PWR team and one of last seasons PWR cars is now a HSV dealer car. Bright took his engineer with him to FPR.
The owner of PWR also owns Dencar which happens to make the body shells for the majority of the Holden runners. This also helps when one of their cars is damaged as they have ready access to the jigs etc.
