Hi all

Due to imminent redundancy I could do with refreshing my CV.

Given its not my strongest point, can anyone recommend any legitamete/good service providers for CV writing?

Thanks

https://cvandinterviewadvisors.co.uk/

I have attended a few of the free online seminars they provide on CV writing and LinkedIn profile optimisation, worth a look.

I'm sure the people recommended here are very good. All I'll say is that CVs are sector dependent and need different approaches accordingly.
What job are you leaving?

(This is PH, I've got a fiver here says it's some dreadfully dull IT coding job which, unfathomably, makes you £600/day)

Sorry to hear about the OP's predicament, I've a funny feeling I might be in the same boat shortly, sign of the times I suppose.
Rog007 I was wondering if you'd mind casting a quick glance over my cv as well?

Thanks all

I'm a project manager in a bank. Not IT but business.

Thanks very much rog007 for the offer to review my CV. I will send it over once I get access to my laptop on Monday.

A very belated update to this thread.
I was indeed given the good news by my previous employer shortly after my last post on this thread.

Rog reviewed my cv & gave me some extremely useful words of advice, all for a very reasonable fee.

It took me a while but I’m now almost 4 months into my new job, & I got my foot in the door using the cv format Rog wrote for me, thanks mate! thumbup

All in all a highly professional and personalised service that I would wholeheartedly recommend.

Very kind words, thankyou. Really pleased you were able to achieve your desired outcome, which is wholly down to yourself, as a great CV is simply the first lever as you intimated.
