I'm sure the people recommended here are very good. All I'll say is that CVs are sector dependent and need different approaches accordingly.

A very belated update to this thread.
I was indeed given the good news by my previous employer shortly after my last post on this thread.
Rog reviewed my cv & gave me some extremely useful words of advice, all for a very reasonable fee.
It took me a while but I’m now almost 4 months into my new job, & I got my foot in the door using the cv format Rog wrote for me, thanks mate!
All in all a highly professional and personalised service that I would wholeheartedly recommend.
