Just spent a fascinating 4 nights at Anstey Hall at Trumpington near Cambridge (holiday with my wife) Didn't know until I happened to have a 'night cap' that the owner John De Bruyne knew Trevor Wilkinson, Peter Wheeler and Martin Lilley as well as numerous other notable persons.
He also tried to start a motor company - De Bruyne Grand Touring which evolved from Gordon Keeble. (edited
