Not exactly fully stocked at the moment but will be in the run up to Christmas. Have long term plans to convert it into a Kegerator when funds/time etc. allow. drink

My thread has arrived !

Mods my guess is this will see more traffic in Food, Drink and Restaurant's or even Homes Gardens and DIY ?

Recently we have completed a extension to the house.
One of the things that I really wanted to incorporate was a spiral wine cellar.
However once we started looking at cost it became a non-starter, even with the builder doing the installation the cost was too high.

So other ideas were considered and the favourite was opening up the stairs and using the space underneath for a wine rack / display.

Some nice glass doors and LED lighting and here you go :-

Wow! Loving that you must be really pleased.

Here’s mine, nothing special but does the job. Needs a little restocking before Xmas smile

I would imagine comparatively cheap to make compared to the cost of filling it.

Here is a fair wine rack...

Far from "fully stocked" at the moment... About half full I would say but still around 100 bottles I would guess.

Shelves in the back of the garage stay at quite a nice conditioning temperature for 3/4 of the year.

Will have another 30 bottles of wine bottles to add to the bottom shelf in a week or so and then another 45 bottles of beer will be added to replace those removed over Christmas.

Very classy, loving that. Is that temp controlled? Can you chill white wine in there ?

You can chill wine in it now - it's in the basement and freezing! They're open racks - I generally just use it for red.
