school kids + rock + window

Well that was a close call.
The local school lets the little brats out at lunchtime (not that I think they should be allowed to), and one of them decided to throw a rock through the office window.
Theres glass all over one of the computers and the chair. If i'd been using it (which I do occasionally), i'd have got a face full of glass....
1)What are schools doing letting the brats out at lunch.
2)If i ever see them trying it again they'll be in for a shock....
Reported it to the school head and the police but what are they going to do? Somehow we now have to find cash for a new window (and yes we are that close to going under...)
Gerr rargh why do people insist on haveing childern....should all be shot at birth
