Anyone know if you can get hold of nose covers for chimps to protect from stone chips etc. I use mine daily and for pretty long journeys so this would be a useful accessory to keep it looking good.

Never seen one for a Chimaera but I thought the same when I had my Chim. They are known as "Car Bras" apparently.

What, one of those leather things that they use in the States ?

Aren't they known as 'bra's' ? (ooops, posted one minute later than previous reply )

Not sure that that you won't come in for some 'banter' if you fit one of those !

I think I'd rather have the Stonechips.

If you are really desperate, check out one of the threads on 'Armorfend' although people have mixed views about fitting it to the nose.

The only problem is that the bonnet has to be spotless when you put them on, or it will just act as a sander - especially at the speeds most TVRs drive at.
There's a guy up here in Scotland with a purple Tuscan that has had one made. It's colour matched to the car & looks OK - probably almost cost as much as a respray though

Speak to Webbs, they are using an underpaint elastic primer that will restore some of the flexibility to water based paints meaning less stone chips.

Obviously you'll need a front end respray to get this but if you are having it done anyway...

Bras are pants, if you know what I mean. Who'd want to be seen driving with a binliner on the front?

Armourfend is the stuff. It's either that or chips!
