S55 AMG, E46 Vert, Discovery 2 & 3, Defender, TT, ST, 182

A thread of my addiction to cars. Done many mods to all of them, but that will take days worth of typing up.
I will start from where I am now and will update as and when things happen.
S55 AMG:
Bought on 51k in 2014, now on 57k 2017. Wheels refurbished in BMW Shadow chrome along with new TPMS's. Calipers rebuilt and resprayed in Porsche Speed. Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2's all round although the rears need replacing already.
Used as a holiday car - as in if we go for a long drive, I take this.
Bose, front massage seats, heated and cooled front and rear seats, xenons, blinds, double glazing e.t.c.. Many things on it, which I think is amazing for a 2003 car.
Audi TT:
Bought on 107k Feb 13 now on 126k. Wheels resprayed in Ford Graphite grey, Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2's all round Feb 14 and getting a bit thin now. Heated leather, Xenons, Bose, 225 version. Girlfriend uses this.
Discovery 2 TD5 ES:
Don't know why I bought this, but I love it. 1 Owner from new, 153k miles but I've done less than 1k since the 18 months of ownership. TD5 ES spec, so hill decent, heated leather, 7 seats, heated front screen, dual climate. Also additional spec with rear centre DVD and rear climate. I think its the spec mixed with the old school looks which is what does it for me.
Discovery 3 TDV6 HSE:
Bought on 124k now on 129k 6 months on. This is the family wagon. Big, safe, gadgets and 7 seats (although I only have 2 kids!). HSE spec, so heated leather front and back, adaptive xenons, turn/side lights, satnav, blue-tooth, rear climate. General grabber AT's all round, although in need of replacement as wearing a bit thin. Has been and will always be a bit of a money pit. But I love it. Has a fridge too!
Ford Mondeo ST:
I bought an ST220 Estate in performance blue back in 2012 when I was 22. That was my first "performance" car. Always had a soft spot for them since then. Since all the other cars are money pits in terms of mpg (except the 182, but that's stripped and noisy!), I wanted something that I could use for next to nothing. Spotted this on eBay for £400 however it needed an engine (timing chain had slipped). Has pretty much every box ticked from factory - Xenons, Satnav, parking sensors and rear DVD entertainment system all additional to the already high ST spec. Another car was sourced smashed up from copart. Engine fitted and job done. Parts I sold from the donor car made the engine and the purchase of the now working ST free! I have fitted final face-lift rear lights, front grill, chrome weather strips - still need to get the handles! Working on getting some recaro's and ST225 front brakes. Was on 99k now on 102k, doesn't get used much. Had 4 new Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 3's fitted last week for the MOT. Wheels need refurbishing and both track rod ends replacing. Eibach lowering springs fitted for 2016's MOT due to front snapped springs.
Clio 182 RS FF:
Track day car!
Stripped interior, Ferodo DS1.11 front pads with Brembo high carbon discs, rear discs and bearings (OEM) with Ferodo DS3000 pads. Motul racing brake fluid. Gave it a full service, cambelt, dephaser, water pump and clutch replaced. I also lowered it on springs and fitted a stainless steel scorpion exhaust. Tracked it around brands for the 1st time (me and the car) last month. Tyres upgrade next.
BMW E46 330CI in IMOLA RED
Colour sold it for me. Ticked many boxes this car - first BMW, first straight six and the colour! Wheels refurbished in gloss black and 4 new Continental Contact Sport 5's fitted. Replaced the rocker cover gasket and gave it a full service. It has optional satnav and adaptive xenon's but no heated leather, a retro fit that will happen next year. Shame its an auto but you cant have everything!
I had the front end stripped back to bare metal a few weeks ago and resprayed, also had the front plate screws filled over. It was littered with chips.
Land Rover Defender 6.5 V8
This winters project. Fitted with a 6.5 litre V8 GMC diesel. Sounds just like a lorry. Replacing the bulkhead and chassis bulkhead outriggers. Have new doors and a truck cab to fit too. Not sure on what colour to paint it yet.
Thanks if you made it this far. Seems silly to most having this many cars, but they all serve a difference purpose. Will SORN the 182, BMW until the spring now I think.

Haha, same! Ran out of that style annoyingly. Have some newer versions on retention but I need new cars for them. However funnily enough S666 TTR is on a TT Little disappointed that the TT doesn't have a TTR plate!
That S55 reminds me of my old one.
God they are one hell of a car! Would light up the rears at any speed haha
Loving the diesels too. Always had a thing for big diesel engines!
Id love to daily an old P38 rangey or disco but the low mpg, poor performance and money sucking issues put me off!

Discovery 2:
Quick suspension and brake refresh over Christmas.
The drivers side has always been lower on the front (quite common).
New springs, shocks and drop links have fixed this. Also had the rear SLS/air suspension calibrated as it was slightly off.
Did the discs and pads too as the discs were rather worn!
Did it over 3 evenings, cost less than £200 all in!
Discovery 3:
Had it's MOT last month. Advisories on tyres, play in one of the rear tie rod bushes, and both front brake hoses corroded.
Also did them over Christmas. Front hoses were £60, easy swap over other than the retaining bolt snapping both sides. Rear tie rods also easily done (did both) and were £70 from memory. 4 wheel alignment at Quikfit for £120 which I can get done over and over again up to 8 times within 2 years. I'll probably fit some new track rod ends when I get the new tyres on, so will have the tracking done again FOC.
