Does anybody knows where to buy some black wheel nuts for the Vantage ? I have a V12S with the black lightweigt wheels and would like to change the shiny ones :-)

I have never seen anything available that you are asking about. I have the same wheels and it is odd they have never released Black wheel studs for them.
My local AM specialist had a Black Roadster getting some bodywork updates done and they put a Black wrap at the end of the wheel studs.

A few of us tried numerous ways via Aston for our AMR black wheels - there are black options for DB11 and possibly even new vantage, but nothing that fits outgoing vantage. The odd Aston show car that has appeared to have black wheel nuts is using prototype parts and / or simply painted wheel nuts, that aren't for sale to the public

Rich / Telum / Redpants has been investigating some possible solutions in the way of black wheel nuts being manufactured

Nice attention to detail especially when you consider how many black wheels we see with silver wheel weights!!!

That is a nasty look frown

I bought a box full for £20 from a local motor factor and take them with me when its time to swap tyres over.

Should have a prototype set for torture testing in the very near future. I've got a pretty specific set of requirements, along with some high standards, along with taking extra measures for both safety and the concerns of the owners that put them on their cars... I'll share more once they're closer to completion. A few PH guys have been in the loop and are keeping me in line wink

Has anyone explored tap-over black plastic covers, with or without flats to match the nuts?

I'm sure I've seen them somewhere on another application, the more I think about it probably forklift truck rear wheel nuts.

With the advent of 3D printers it shouldn't be too difficult to make some up..........well it would be for me maybe, but a 12 year old should have no problems turning a set out!!

The titanium lightweight AM 6G43-1K024-AA ones are grey. A quick shot of satin black from a rattle can and they match my wheels perfectly. Even better they are also lighter for reduced unsprung weight.

No black ones in 14x2.0. And: The AM Originals consists of two indepent rotating parts and I think with the high torque of 170Nm it's better for the rims then the normal ones where the flat face rubs against the rim.

HWM in Walton-on-Thames, only today posted a picture on instagram of some black wheel nut covers.

They stare that they are really popular,.

And they'll be one of the cheaper items from the accessories dept.

I fail to see the problem here?

Common enough mod and available for around a fiver for a set of 20. Lots of sellers.

I use them in chrome on my van and in black on a couple of cars.

Black Covers made from plastic and black wheel nuts are two different things for me...and I'm looking for black wheel nuts.

Indeed

A number of us have ordered covers from HWM as a stop gap (hence their comment about proving popular - I ordered 12 sets on behalf of 5 owners), at relatively low cost, with a view to buying actual black nuts from Rich to replace the covers with as, when & if he gets a manufacturer able to meet his standards
