Fancy a big television
Discussion
I bought a relatively good Samsipung télévision six years ago, and have been happy with it since, but now fancy something a bit bigger for a more “cinema like” experience.
It’s a bit of a caprice, so I probably don’t need to go for the greatest newest set, and the sound and smart hub gubbins are already retaken care of.
My lounge is quite dark, do I need an OLED or QLED, or would a normal LED be fine?
Curry’s have a Samsung UE65MU6200at under £1,000; is there any god reason not to buy that?

Thanks.
I’ve been out and had a look at a few but I’m still not certain if it’s worth the extra. I’ve not noticed a lack of brightness on my current set, and wonder if I ever would. Side by side the picture is a bit different, but alone, I’m not sure.
I’ll have a think, and see what’s available in the sales.

Just a much better tech all round, each pixel is able to turn on/off, so proper blacks and hence a much better dynamic range and more realistic picture.
If you are prepared to pay £1500 for an OLED then do so, the difference once set up at home is not subtle.
If you can provide a link for a 65 inch oled please do and I’ll buy one. If you are prepared to pay £1500 for an OLED then do so, the difference once set up at home is not subtle.
