Technically it's the 16:30 from Edinburgh put lets not get into what train is what and all that but yes I am getting "out of my brain", not on drugs or booze but full on annoyance.

There is someone playing some stupud little game thing on their phone and the tune interspersed with "Awesome" and "Nice move" is sending me insane. To add to my woes someone keeps getting bloody text messages what seems like every 5 seconds as all I can hear is that stupid fking noise Samsung phones make. The bloke 3 rows down is American and hasn't shut the fk up since he got on the fking train with his rather nasal American accent.

What's more the free booze cart hasn't been since fking Edinburgh and we are now past Newcastle.

Thank fk I've only got another 35 mins of this crap.

It's been a long hard week.

Thanks for reading.

Here is the song in case that is what you where hoping for.

Free booze cart? Sounds like a very agreeable form of transport.

Three words for you:
Noise. Cancelling. Headphones

Essential for train travel.

Just stand up and shout to the entire carriage "if anyone else is getting annoyed with all this noise, please raise your hand".

If you get a good response, ask the offending traveller to stop. Knowing that you have the support of the majority, they will shrink away and comply.

Communication is your saviour!

1. Buy a bag of pork scratchings.
2. Apply pork scratchings to your face and neck.
3. Sit next to really annoying person
4. Start absent-mindedly picking at the pork scratchings on your face as though they were scabs
5. As each scratching gets picked off, eat the scratching

Enjoy your empty carriage.

There is a really annoying song called Baby Shark. My nearly 3 year old neice loves it.

You'll find it on YouTube. Keep playing it until they all STFU.

I did this on a bus once, when some teenagers were playing rap on their mobile phones. The vote was carried and they shut up.

My wife decided we should move out of London shortly thereafter before I got myself killed.

Can be an issue if a nutcase is involved.

I was on a train recently in a poorly signposted quiet zone (one of those little ones stuffed next to a first class section), and a phone was beeping when messages arrived. Some guy leans through a pair of seats and politely says 'who's fking phone is making noise, it's a fking quiet zone'.

Response 'sorry, emergency messages for my wife's heart operation' - which gets a reply 'I dont give st' and some other helpful platitudes.

Phone bloke then less politely offers to 'shove his nose through the back of his head if he utters another word'...

Was much fun

I get the same irks when travelling on the train. I think it's me being an irritable fker to be honest as most people on the train are noisy fkpigs.

I often splash out and go first class in the hope of getting a better sort of passenger and avoiding the plebs. laugh
