Tried to start er up this evening, neither key will turn in the ignition. Is it just the cold ?, was ok yesterday.
We have had colder days in the past & I have not had this problem, or is it something else ??

Regards.............Andrew

Try rocking the steering wheel from side to side as you turn the key and squirt some WD40 into the slot.
If the key will not go in at all, try some lubricant such as WD40.

I did post something about steering lock then thought it didn't make sense. Perhaps your steering lock "function" is broken.

It`s ok, wd40 seems to have sorted it. Just wanted to hear her running for a bit smile

It would be good to replace the steering lock, once a lock fails it will vey likely fail again and you could end up stuck in the middle of nowhere

I had that problem. thought I needed a new lock and bought one only to find that it didn't need replacing.

Took the lock out and found that it needed a tiny blob of grease where the lock follows the barrel at the bottom of the unit. It is not that hard to take it all out, there are plenty of instruction threads about where you have to place a spike to release it.

Works fine now.
