Can you have the window replaced on the roof without getting the whole roof done? Mine has holed but the rest of the roof is in OK condition.

Yes a simple jobthat takes 2-3 hours and costs approx £150. I have just had mine done by

While he was at it he also made me a magnolia gear gaiter and handbrake gaiter £20 for the pair.

I've just had mine done by a guy near Milton Keynes. I took off the roof & hoop & delivered it too him, so he just charged me £100 for the screen.

He did remove the material from the hoop etc and re-glue it back in, so its not a totally easy job.

It sounds like a good contact but unfortunately I am in the NE ( 10 miles outside Newcastle), so it would be a bit of a hike. Anyone know of anywhere a bit closer to me?
Wondered whether anyone else uses boot polish to keep the hood black and cover marks? Helps waterproof it as well.
