Looking at getting a 2014/15 seat ibiza fr 1.4tsi act. Does anyone have one or something similar? Could you advise on how they are to drive?
Thanks in advance.

I cant comment on the Ibiza, but I have that engine in a Leon and it's excellent, very good mix of power, torque and economy.

I can comment on the Ibiza FR but can't comment on the 1.4 ACT as I had the 1.2TSI and now the 1.8TSI, so going off that logic - I'd say yes go for it, just enough power for the chassis to be exceptionally economical, nippy and smooth for daily driving

I ran an Audi A3 with the same engine for three years . The wife and I liked it so much we have now bought a Leon FR with the same unit.

It's a great little engine. Decent economy and a good turn of pace. Not quite hot hatch material, but quick enough to be interesting.

I have one! Fantastic little car! Unfortunately hand it back friday! But in the 3 and a half years I have had it I haven't had one issue with it! Not even a bulb has gone. It has plenty of power, and handles really well. You can certainly find yourself in naughty territory quite quickly. Very economical when needed. As a daily I think it's a real good mix of power and economy. I believe if you want a map you can get them up to about 180 to 200. But that's it as It kind of goes against what this engine is designed for with the cylinder de activation, and so companies haven't invested much time in it.
