Tickover problem

When I press the clutch and apply the brake in traffic or at a junction the revs drop really low and then pick back up to the normal idle speed. They drop to a point where the car feels as if it's almost going to stall, any ideas on what the issue could be, presuming this isn't normal as I've never experienced it with any other car.
The car is a 2011 2.0L diesel Nissan qashqai tekna.

A clutch that's dragging can cause this problem.

Leak in your intake after the MAF can cause similar. Look for a cracked duct or hose. Maybe a missing bung or loose breather pipe. Listen for a whistle when running.

OK so driving home from work tonight I've turned the air conditioning off and it doesn't do it, the revs just drop to 750rpm which i think is normal, this is also the case with the AC off but the blower still on.
Turn the AC on and dip the clutch and the revs drop to 500rpm and the car stutters before rising back up to 750rpm, any thoughts please.

Just the AC pump load on the engine. You'll get similar rev changes if you sit still and turn the wheel due to the load from the power steering. Probably normal if it doesn't stall the car.

Really, never noticed it in other cars, oh well guess I'll have to live with it or chop it in 🤣

Check the vacuum hose that comes off the brake booster.
