Will be following this as very similar to my recent purchase. Although mines a 96 spec and I suspect a little more rough around the edges at the moment!
This is my fourth example, I just can’t seem to stay away from them. This one is in pretty excellent shape mechanically, it does need some rust attending to and a new passenger side wing as it suffered a failed ball joint during the previous owners ownership, other than that all bodywork looks to be original.
It has had various bushes replaced in the past which makes it feel nice and solid.
Get some photos up of yours, they are awesome cars.

I'm in a similar situation mechanically, albeit it is smoking a tad at high revs so I'll look at doing the valve stem seals this year.
Bodywork wise it's going to get both rear arches sorted this year, and the carbon bonnet painted to championship white to keep it stock looking.
It's my first Teg but I've wanted one for as long as I can remember, and I'm definitely not disappointed in how it drives!

That sounds and looks very nice, I look forward to seeing how you progress, will be following your threadI'm in a similar situation mechanically, albeit it is smoking a tad at high revs so I'll look at doing the valve stem seals this year.

Nice example! Im currently in the market for a DC2 or a DC5 and haven't decided yet! Dont feel like you need to answer but how much did you pay for this one? The prices seem to be everywhere
I want a DC5 as well but can’t justify it at the moment as I’ve also got an extensive build progressing on my Impreza https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&...
This one was a bargain at £5.5k, it’s covered 88k miles and is in very good condition, the only downside was it was 600 miles away from me; the drive home was interesting especially with the stiffer engine mounts and short gear ratios lol
Planned work before the new year:
- Replace the drive shaft seals and refill the box with Torco MTF & Friction Modifier. Just waiting on my Miluwakee M18CHIWF12 impact wrench to arrive, hopefully it’ll be delivered before 28/12.
- Fit Accord Type R front calipers with Stoptech 300x28mm front discs and CL RC6 pads.
- Fit a Skunk2 Dual Bend Short Shifter and Hardrace shifter bushings.
- Book some track days

Milwaukee M18 Impact Wrenches arrived on Saturday
makes working with stubborn bolts a pleasure.

I drained the gearbox oil, replaced the drive shaft seals and filled the box with Torco MTF and Torco Type F Friction Modifier. Took it for a nice Sunday morning drive as I haven’t had the chance to stretch it’s legs since I’ve bought it, Almost forgot how awesome these cars are

I took the Integra out on its first track outing at Brands Hatch on Tuesday, the car was absolutely awesome on track
the turn in, feed back through the steering and seat, the speed it can carry through the corners is just awesome.
The next track outing is booked for the 5th of May at Bedford Autodrome.

Brake upgrade carried out yesterday in preparation for Bedford Autodrome that is scheduled for 5th of May.
Front brakes:
Looking forward to the next track day.
Front brakes:
- Refurbished set of Accord Type R Calipers fitted to the front with Stoptech Sportstop Discs and CL RC6 pads.
- Stoptech Sportstop Discs and CL RC5 pads.

A couple of sundays ago, I decided to break out the Meguairs Dual Action polisher that I bought 8 years ago; never used it until now lol
The paintwork was looking rather flat before I started.
I ended up using a clay bar on the entire car including lights, rubbers and windows. This was followed up by a polish and wax.

Next stop for the bodywork will be having the small areas of rust seen to and possibly repaint the inside in Championship White.
I’ve also done a deal on a second Honda track car that I intend to fit a Goautoworks S-Race turbo kit to, I already have the turbo kit and i should be collecting the car in 2 weeks time when I’m back from holiday.

Pretty cool Civic, I assume it’s an EK4? That will be fun as a track car with a turbo on it.
Hondas with FI are great fun!
It is an EK4 that has been resprayed inside out in CW, currently has a B18C4 with an S4C box fitted. I’m looking for an S80 box to replace the current S4C; should be a awesome setup with the turbo and a Kaaz Diff.Hondas with FI are great fun!
