How many 12c spiders

don't know
but in the UK... 244 12c's registered and 38 SORN (as of Q2 2017)
split I would make a guestimate of 50/50
cannot image many coupes were sold after the spider came out
You are missing a lot of cars. the DVLA for some reason never recorded the P11 cars accurately and they are all over the place (675s have been recorded at 12c's on V5Cs for example). If you look at registrations, Mclaren (missing) has a large increase in new regs at conveniently the same time that the 12c's were appearing.and 12c's only started getting recorded around q2 2012 which is completely wrong. The number is some combination of the 2, as a very rough guide the UK allocation has been about 10% so that's about 350 12c's spider and coupe which ties in with the number of cars registered between the 2 DVLA combinations at the end of 2013 which is more or less when 12c production switched to 650. Practically every 12c sold after the spider was released (end of 2012 iirc) would have been a spider so an appoximate number can probably be worked out. but in the UK... 244 12c's registered and 38 SORN (as of Q2 2017)

What Isaldiri says. Many cars mixed up, my early 12C is actually registered as an F1! Many 675LT's are 12C's. However the approx number of coupes is 280. There were approx 3,500 12C's made, 10% are RHD (some will be in OZ & Japan) so take 280 from 350 and you get approx 70 spiders.
70 sounds a bit low for the spiders I have to say. I am pretty sure I've driven a spider with vin 22XX or 23XX and 12cs went to ~3500 or so. I would have to guess at least 100 spiders here to be honest as the ratio of spiders to coupe isn't that rare. For what it is worth....
Out of the 350 members of the UK Owners Group over the last two years, we have had 86 12C Coupes and 28 12C Spiders pass through in different hands.
That might give you an approximate reflection of the ratio of Coupes to Spiders out there.
Not precise but indicative...

Seems 70 -100 is the best approximation so lets settle on 85, which is not a lot in the scale of things.
I think 650S spider to coupe ratio was more like 80% spider as it was available from the start and with the no compromise carbon tub why wouldn't you choose the spider
Because I am not a hairdresser I think 650S spider to coupe ratio was more like 80% spider as it was available from the start and with the no compromise carbon tub why wouldn't you choose the spider
