Not sure if this has been done before but let's make a Christmas Top 10 of your or our favorite Christmas songs. Just reply to this topic and give me your top three and I will update the list every morning.

As a start:

1- Band Aid: Do they know it's Christmas (the original!)
2- The Pogues: Fairytale of New York
3: Franky goes to Hollywood: The power of love

A good choice, but I'm a bit schmaltzy with Christmas songs...

Waitresses - Christmas Wrapping - "What you forgot Cranberry too?" - Great song!
Wham - Last Christmas - Love the video and the lines "Now I know what I fool I've been, but if you kissed me now, I know you'd fool me again" stab like a knife every time!
Slade - Merry Christmas Everybody - I said to my mum last week, whenever I hear the lines "Does your grandma always tell you the old songs are the best, then she's up and rock and rolling with the rest" - It reminds me of her mum when we used to visit a neighbours for a new year's party every year!

Although my favourite Xmas music is "A Christmas Gift for You from Phil Spector".

Just heard this on the radio - never heard it before even though it's from 1986! A Gibb brothers song performed by a group of Welsh session musicians. I thought it was Abba when I first heard it:

As mentioned in another thread, Christmas single by Big Big Train:

Gaudete by Steeleye Span as mentioned above. Probably my favourite 'traditional' Christmas song:

And can't leave out Last Christmas. George really did write some great tunes. Has to be the Pudding Mix version though!:
