TRAILER for M400
Discussion
I am after a well designed trailer for my M400, does anyone know of a good one that works well.
If you know of a company that custom makes them I wouldn’t mind it to have a built in lift so that I can make it easier to get access to the bottom of the engine to keep my exhaust in check.

Phew! Now I understand. For a moment I thought you were wanting to pull a trailer around the country on the back of the car.....

Stacker trailers (trailers with lifts) are really hard to tow. Over here in the US where everyone drives huge SUV's and Pickups I know of 2 people who have sold theirs because they couldn't tow it well. One of those people had a Ford F350 dual rear wheel diesel pickup. I have one of those as well and I tow 8000#'s regularly with ease as the truck it rated to tow 16,500#'s. The truck has 345 HP and 560 ft/lbs stock and it wouldn't tow the 12' tall trailer. What is available in Europe that will tow such a trailer? If it were me I would consider a normal trailer and airjacks. There is an airjack company that makes a 2 part jackstand that works with the airjacks to get the car high enough to work on safely. Basically you put the airjacks up, slide in the bottom of the stand, lower the airjacks with car on bottom of stand, raise airjacks again with airjack feet on top of stand and raise it up higher. There is then a second part of the stand that goes in to hold the car safely. It probably took longer to explain it than it would take to do it. There are plenty of opportunities to use air jacks with a track car.

I bought a trailer from these people when I have my Ultima Spyder and found them to be of excellent quality, very helpful and a damn sight cheaper than Brian James!

Give them a bell and tell them what you're after... I'm sure you'll find them very helpful.

PS. I have nothing to do with this firm other than being a satisfied customer.
