Is there anything with these attributes which doesn‘t break the bank?

light-ish weight,
front engine,
RWD,
V6,
manual transmission,
2 seats (2+2 would be fine if not heavy),
coupe (not interested in 2 door saloons)
The newer the better but not older than late 80‘s early 90‘s.
No rigid rear axle please.
Would strongly prefer European.

Any ideas?

To give you an example, if the last Opel GT/Saturn Sky were V6 and Coupe it would be perfect. Affordable to buy and maintain and ticks all boxes besides V6 and coupe.

If budget was not a concern, a TVR Sagaris or TVR 350 would also be great as would maybe even a F-type V6. Although maybe too heavy, I haven't looked at the weight as I write this since I can't afford one now. . And manuals are hard to find.

But you get the idea. Anything which fits?

Thanks.

The TVRs aren't V6.

So, what about Audi TT 3.2 (which is V6, but mostly not RWD biggrin)

T350 & Sagaris? I stand corrected, I thought they were six in a row

Ford Cougar 2.5 v6 manual.

1390kg seems quite trim compared with current cars,

Mid-engined but what about a Boxster or Cayman (depending on budget, obviously)

How about a BMW Z4?

Straight six rather than V6, but that wouldn't put me off (BMW make EXCELLENT straight six engines).

Thanks for the replies.

Yes, Sagaris and 350 are not V6. I meant it the same way I meant the Opel GT. IF it was a V6 it would be perfect and if I could afford them. Just so you can have an idea of what type of car I'm looking for.

No FWD or AWD please.

370Z is on the heavy side, right?

Mercedes SLK is a convertible. I asked for a hardtop coupe.

Again the MX5 is a open top too.

Not interested in mid rear engined. Hence why I asked front engined.;)

Anything less ugly than a Z4? Yes it's also not a V6.

I have thought for a while and there doesn't seem to be many options if at all that check those boxes, for some reason. It would seem like an obvious type of car. RWD, V6, front engine two seater coupe. But I guess not.

Based on the previous model SLK, not the current one. Therefore not great.

Also the Crossfire costs way too much for what it is. If it was cheaper I might put up with the ugly style, if it drives good. I never drive one.

You didn't specify that it had to look good or drive well..

Because look good is subjective. But drive well I thought it was a given. Why ask for a RWD coupe if not expecting it to drive well?
