Car insurance in West London for an R35 GT-R
Discussion
Have you tried Admiral? They are generally competitive on quotes for GTRs. What is rather strange is the quote is cheaper if the vehicle is not garaged, when I questioned a friend in the insurance trade about this he explained that many companies found that they were getting customers claiming due to damage to bodywork when moving the vehicles into and out of garages.

Yeah, try Admiral. I’ve just paid £280 to insure an R8 (for one year) and a Honda Civic (6 months) on a dual policy, fully comp with 1 year’s NCB on the R8.£280 for insurance on an R8! Wow, that is ridiculously good!
Admiral/Elephant quote me around £800, which is very good. This is my default choice but I've been calling round to see if I can get a better quote. One of the issues is that I want to modify the car to stage 4 and Admiral won't allow this (or unless you explain the power increase, and not how it is achieved, maybe, but that is risky). Although I may keep the car standard for a year, then move to a specialist insurer.
One of the specialists that quoted me a ridiculous price said that it's because of lack of experience in a performance car so I'm hoping if I have the car for a year with no claims, then the price should be reasonable with the specialists?
