Does anyone have any experience of these?

I need new boots and I'm tempted, but am erring towards playing safe and buying four P ZERO ROSSOS.

Any views? I don't do track days, I just think they might feel great and the look SO cool!

If you don't do track days, you'd be insane to get them. They offer incredible grip, but are so soft you can stick your finger nail into them. They also ship with very little tread so they don't last any distance.

Nor are they any good at clearing standing water, so you can aquaplane easily if you hit a puddle. They are ok if its just damp though.

So as a road tyre they'd not be a sensible choice unless you are a track day go-er willing to put up with the considerable compromises.

On the plus side, the grip is excellent when warm but way more than you could safely use on the road anyway.

I've just gone from Rossos to Pilot Sports. No question in my mind now, the Michelins feel so much better on the road in all conditions. The Pirellis scared me in the wet.

Anyone tried the Neros? According to pirelli they were designed to supersede the Rossos and are only cheaper at the moment because they aren't OEM fit on any car (when OEM they know they can chargemore...). Not sure what the prices are like now though as it was a year ago I looked into them.

Are we talking about Corsa race tyres or Corsa System? I'd highly recommend Corsa System the grip is excellent, wear is ok - not brilliant, grip in the wet is actually good (the System has radial grooves to help disperse water).

If Porsche fit them as the standard road tyre on the GT3RS then they are good enough for me!!!!

I was thinking more of the motorsports not having used the System which are standard fit on the 360CS. Buying tyres like this because they look cool is pretty silly though

How much harder is the compound on the System? Given the extra tread they have over the motorsport I'm guessing they can't be as soft.

What size are they on the GT3RS?

DanH, buying tyres because they look good! Not a good sign! Couldn't agree with you more, the Corsa System isn't particularly aesthetically pleasing IMHO.

On a GT3RS the tyres are 235/40/18 and 295/30/18.
