Women look 5 years younger when sitting in the passenger seat and lose all their wrinkles when they're behind the wheel pressing the loud pedal in 3rd.

Men driving Chim's are more satisfied in themselves leading to more fulfilling sex for women

Chims are so reliable compared to a Toyota Corolla that there's more disposable income for jewellery and having a good time

They vibrate in a very pleasing manner, much like a Zannussi!

They make you feel 10 years younger.

They hold their value much better than mainstream cars (ok not as true as it once was, but nonetheless true-ish!)

You will always want to drive when you go out in the Chimaera, so she'll never have to drive home from the pub ever again = more beer for her!

You'll feel guilty forever about selling your house to buy the car, so necessitating the purchase of lots of expensive presents for her birthday and Christmas to salve your conscience.

Whenever you look at the sleek curves of the Chimaera it reminds you of her and her sleek curves. Oh, and it matches her eyes too. (Not red, is it??)

If you have a Chimaera, she'll always know where you are (polishing it/gazing lovingly at it as it sits the garage/etc.), and you'll be so besotted by the car that you won't have time for affairs with other women.

Guaranteed male attention for her if she drives it!

Depends on how you get rid of her. Ask for a divorce and you'll be driving a Reliant for the next 50 years.

when the sun is out she WILL want to be in the passenger seat... just tell her she'll be able to enhance her already beautiful tan (you did say little white lies were permitted if it's not true)...

also I hear they are very safe cos you're sitting within the chassis? (might be wrong here... but you did say little white lies...)

(1) is a matter of opinion - can't help you with that (maybe a Griff?!).

(2) is two points. (2a) On what grounds does she think they are 'unsafe'? Where has she got this info from or is she making it up? (2b) Why will she not be seen in it?

In conclusion, she must remember that each partner must have the freedom to do a little of what they want. So buy it.

I just hope she doen't then expect you to spend an equal amount on jewellery!

Is it your money? If so spend it on what you want.

Are you married? If so I guess she 'owns' half the money from the house which makes things a bit trickier.

TVRs are a lot more noticeable on the road therefore people don't pull out on you resulting in less accidents.

Maybe she thinks they are unsafe because being in one makes her feel unsafe? Get a rollcage and harnesses (perhaps she won't like the harnesses as they will squash her frontage).

Nope. I was a passenger in a Reliant once and I would never, ever go there again!
