Mindless morons!

Went to the car this morning to find most of my drivers lock on the driveway after some brainless tw
ts tried to screwdriver their way into it last night.
FFS, there is a big light flashing warning of an alarm and immobiliser, there was nothing in it (I make sure of this), it has deadlocks, etc. I never use the key hole anyway as it has a remote fob thing.
It's events like these that make you want to upsticks and move, it really makes you feel very violated. I know it could be worse but still p
es you off for the day.
I'm going to report it now but won't claim because even though I have protected NCB I'm sure that there is a clause that will allow the insurance company to up my premiums 200%.
I thought we lived in a nice area! Or should that be used to.

Doesn't matter where you live, there is always some scroat wants to try and take what's yours
Sorry to hear what happened, mate. String em up by the b
ocks ? Gits aren't they.

I went to unlock my old battlebus Volvo 850 the other day from the passenger side & noticed someone had been trying to get in with a screwdriver. Pushed the lock forward and norsed it up so you can't get a key to work in it now.
But at least the deadlock held and they didn't get in. But so
ed off, it's too old to be worth doing anything with but I would just love to have a chat with the little scote that tried it and listen to his sorry tale of childhood deprivations, ricketts, scurvey & lice - before I castrated him with a rusty spoon and fed him to the fishes...

That's the way to go. If it went to court, they would make him the victim somehow. I've had so little help and in some cases anti-help from the police when I need them, I will just do it myself. In court (if I was unlucky enough to get caught) I would cite my experience of the police so far. I know it's very un cuddly/feely of me to not consider his background/mental state, etc but I don't buy this liberal "let's debate a middle way and do nothing" approach. Anyones with my stuff collection and gets caught, they will find themselves in a world of pain.

Some guy tried to punch and kick his way into my house some years ago.
The police wanted me to let him off scot free as he 'hadnt been in trouble before'.
It transpires that I couldnt have claimed for the damages he caused (broken window/fence/land rover door) so I asked them to book him.
I was surprised that they actually tried to convince me to let him off in the full knowledge that I would have to pay for the damage he caused (approx £300).
You live and learn I reckon!!! Dont go kicking peoples stuff about and you wont have a record and the bill to show for it! Easy!

Went to the police station to report it....closed! Of course!
Spotted local PC so had a chat, mentioned that there had been a spate of mindless acts of vandlism and that the little 'darlings' target certain areas every now and again. Said that I should ring a 0845 number to report it, that way they can keep track of their statistics....wonder how many people bother, that should help keep their statistics down. Maybe I should report it 6 times just to make sure
Of out now to super glue the pieces I found back into the lock.
Rob_F - Hope you are okay.

I reported it online at www.police.uk using the 'Non Emergency Minor Crime Notification' form and it worked fine. Got a call from Merseyside Police reporting unit the next day with the crime number.
I'm not claiming on insurance and I don't expect anyone to get nabbed for it (to be fair to the BiB, I can't place exactly when it happened) but I did want to report it so it gets added into the stats - don't want teflon Tone to be able to say crime is going down when it isn't.
..and best wishes to the PHer who got beat up. Look on the bright side.. Nurses..

Let's wait and see if the BiB give me a call.
You won't if my recent experience is anything to go by. Hopeless. Clowns, quite frankly. I've no faith their ability to catch anything (other than motorists who've worked hard all their lives and done nobody any harm, but you knew that already).
i know exactly how you feel mate.
just 1 week ago exactly the same thing happened to me
check out what happened
so bloody annoyed, would have cost me £500 to repair properly, i went the cheap way and got it done for £65 but it doesnt mean im happy about it.
65 quid gone which i shouldnt have had to spend.
