A colleague has relocated from Chicago to Wiltshire and I am cooking for them on Wednesday. Thoughts are something 100% stars & stripes, or a big slice of Union Jack. Not a roast, or meatloaf. Any thoughts?

I did Toad in the Hole tonight. Can never do a decent job of it.

Any good American options? Going to do sliders for the kids. Can't bring myself to to meatloaf. I would do anything etc...
