I reckon they'd hold up very well with regular use. They're put together very well, with high quality materials, basic yank mechanicals & aluminium bodywork. Providing the chassis is well protected to avoid rot, would make a wonderful car to run. Quite a few £'s to buy & an ongoing appetite for fuel!

I find it hard to argue, that if I was going to spend the money on a Bristol, surely you'd buy a Corniche? I hate the fact I think that, but its what buyers did in their thousands.
Brabazon motors in Bristol specialise in them and seem to offer some upgrades to make them even more useable as a daily.

Yes, still have my 410. Great cars, easily capable of daily use and many are. All though the cars all look pretty similar and share so much basic engineering, they did evolve over the years so a late 411 or 603 is a very different car to drive and live with than a 407 or 408.

Brabazon are long gone now, website is still there but they are no more. All their stock and cars awaiting restoration they sold to Bristol cars I understand. Bristol Cars and Spencer Lane Jones are the best know specialists here, and both can do upgrades to make the cars easier to live with and faster. They originally said customer cars would be delivered early of 2017. That was always ambitious, but I've not heard much about the Bullet at all recently. After several months of radio silence, and some staff changes, their social feeds and website have recently sprung back into life, announcing some lovely ties and pocket squares. Not much about new cars. I'd love them to succeed with the Bullet, but even by the standard of Bristols it is an expensive, niche product. I'd be surprised if there are as many as 34 Blenheims. Some Blenheim 1s became Blenheim 2s and 3s. There is certainly more than 1 3S however.Their forum lists suggested build numbers for the Blenheim of the 90s:

The 603 is a big leap in refinement and modernity from the 411. Much more space inside, huge boot. If I ever were to need to change from my 410 it would be a Brigand or Britannia I'd get. I regret not buying a £5k Brigand when I had the chance, but there's no way I'd afford to run two. 410 is far from cheap to run. Fuel is pretty good for what it is, I average 17-18mpg and I generally drive it like I pinched it. Potter about and you can get 20mpg. (But I once filled up at Canary Wharf, then two hours across London later out of interest I filled up again in Chiswick - 7mpg). Let me know if you're ever in Wiltshire, you'd be welcome to have a run in the 410.

I got the Brooklands book on the Bristil road tests a while back. Its great reading all the road tests. I often wonder what they would have become if Mr Crook had been less....obstinate....individual... less Mr Crook-like.
