I haven't been to see it nor do I know anything about it but I can tell you it's been for sale for quite a long time. I bought my car back in June and it had been hanging around for a couple of months then.

Although it was the engine size I wanted I ignored it because of the Lupo headlights, which I just don't like. And it seemed a bit expensive by comparison with some others at the time.

There was someone on here with a very similar (same ?) Yellow Chim some years ago.

They may still be on here and this might be a different car, but they also had yellow
dials like the advertised car and I wouldn't think that was very common.

That car has been for sale on and off for about 6 months.

It was at a diffeent dealer in the spring / early summer for about £16,500 (in Essex or the home counties I think?). Then it was advertised privately for about £14k (probably by the owner), at which point I was about to contact them about going to see it. Despite attempting to cover the reg up on the Pistonheads ad, it was possible to see it at the time.

But it then got pulled from the classifieds before I saw it and has now turned up at a different place, for even more, in winter! Ambitious I'd say, although it has a desireable spec and a 5 stud wheel conversion, and more work done to it by the description. I've since bought one with the Lupo lights, which I think are OK personally. My last one had black leather seats which look better longer, but can be horrendous in summer.

I owned this car around 2002 and it was me who put the TVR reg on. It was fine then but it’s obviously a long time ago. I did enquire on here about it a few months ago as I was tempted to buy it back. You might be able to search for the thread using the Reg no. Someone replied to say they knew it was in good order. I didn’t go for it in the end as I decided to get one in original spec.
