Parmesan Grater Help!

Evening all,

Our current graters aren't up to the knack of getting a good parmesan grating when required, it's so hard! There is one at her parent's that is a blade mounted on a wooded palm holder bit and that works well.

Anyone got any recommendations of a good one?

Do rotary rotors work?

I use something similar to below, can't remember where I bought it or how long I've had it (probably a good few years), it was likely really cheap as I'm tight and I guess you could get similar from Sainsbury's or Tesco:

Can't go wrong with a MicroPlane - I've had mine for years, does a great job even on "back of the fridge" parmesan.

All you'll need.

And because it grates so finely you'll get more out of a block and use less each time.

Another vote for the MicroPlane, mine is quite old & has a deep collecting tray but it doesn't appear on their website.
