How odd! Interesting to see the driver opens his door briefly - I assume he hit the wrong pedal when re-seating himself, and pressed down harder in panic when he moved forward?

Unsure why there's any debate. Pretty much every review of the original R8 refers to it as a super car.

Everything is subject to opinion I guess but it seems some people are intent on stoking the fires every so often... yawn

Definitely is a super car. Have you driven one?

My V10 plus was faster than most "super cars" and got a similar amount of interest to other "super cars"

Speed and Interest are only half the story. My G63 has plenty of both, but it ain't no Supercar.

The perception of Audi is a brand that's known for functional repmobiles,

The R8 has it's super car abilities and fanbase. Audi did a good job with it

I have driven one on a number of occasions as my friend owns a V10 convertible, it is a phenomenal car and gets tons of interest whenever it’s parked up. Most that argue that it’s not a supercar have never driven one.

We digress, crazy video clip, that poor chap filling his car was lucky not to be killed.
