beading round headlights
Discussion
mine's in less than great shape after only a week. The result is the headlights are coming unstuck from the body at the corners. They're not in any danger or falling out but they do look awful as the paint around the headlights is bubbling up. A bit disappointed but something to add to the list of things to be sorted at first service. I fully expect a few little things even on a brand new VW golf so I'm not trying to start a rant.
But I imagine this isn't the first tvr to ever do this so was wondering about any advice, does water get in? Do I need it fixed soon or will the headlights fall out if left much longer etc.?
I should add the rest of the car is superb and simply superb to drive - even at sedate running in speed - so much so I'd forgive it almost anything. If the niggles can be sorted it'll be a fantastic car to own.

Sounds like yours will be joining mine at Gatwick TVR! My T350 im sorry to say was not up to scratch, could be because i expected it to be as good as my last one which was really good.
Mines in to have a full compounding as the paint needs flatening and maybe even a re-spray but we will see.
I had a similer problem with my last one with the lights, but probably will be ok, only prob is can you live with the look?
Im sorry to say the quality control at TVR still needs some improvement, but if the dealers are as good as gatwick at taking the car back to sought it out, i can still live with it!
Only problem now, when do i have time to get back to the UK to pick it up!
