Forums on tablet - desktop/mobile view

I have a Nexus 7 tablet and when viewing the forums using Chrome it seems to be displaying the desktop view which means lots of scrolling around and zooming in due to the layout and small text. It's driving me nuts!

I've checked that the 'show desktop version' option in Chrome is unticked - and strangely when I tick it and then untick it the mobile view is displayed for a brief moment (hurrah!) before the desktop view returns (boo!).

The mobile view works fine on my Moto G3 phone - how do I get it to be displayed on the tablet?

Don't have this issue on my Pixel phone or Fire tablet using Chrome on both.


I suggest clearing cache files etc.

Yes - have already tried a cache clear and a full factory reset.

Works fine on a Shield K1.
