My office has become a huge crèche with kids parties .. I'm heading off around 11.
The only point to come in was to take some piccies to give GF a hint about popping sprogs. Though not actual pictures just to emphasise .. :-|

Most offices won’t have done anything since at least last week!

I have no idea why I’m still here, the clients not doing any work, so I’m just sat here waiting, and waiting, and waiting, we really didn’t need to be here this week at all.

We're finishing at 11:30 and heading to the local for a couple of pints, we had a "proper" Christmas party a couple of weeks ago, so there will be no work don this afternoon

Thank God too!

I'm sat here with very little to actually do. I've sent out a few emails but all I'm seeing is out of office replies.

The question is when can I ps off? It's an open plan office, and by lunch time everyone will be looking round to see when the most senior person goes, then there will be a stampede for the car park.

My plan is to slowly clear my desk until all that is left is an unplugged laptop. I'll then go to lunch, take my laptop with me and not return....

Our work has a christmas party today.
For all those not going, a full day at the office is expected.

This.

Despite Brexit, Britain is becoming more European, with more and more workplaces winding or shutting down for days and weeks on end during certain Summer and Winter periods.

I've worked my way through Simply Red greatest hits, now moved back to Original Pirate Material from The Streets, then I'll go and get a haircut. Then I'll go drinking.
