OK.....as this is becoming quite popular....here are details for this MTB meet.

The day has been set as the 21st May as this seemed the most popular. Lets try and meet at the Look Out car park at 10am. I'll post directions soon plus email all of you about this.....

I've decided that helmets is an absolute must! I really don't want to risk anyone getting hurt! (You can rent them at the Look Out if you don't have one but if you ride regularly, I recommend you get one).

After a long grueling ride, we'll head over to the Crickers pub for some quality grub and beer

If people who are coming could let me know as if numbers are high enough, I'll book us a table at the pub otherwise if it's just half a dozen, we shouldn't have to book.

If anyone know of any routes around the Look Out, let me know as I've no idea of any so we're simply going where ever looks good (i'll do a little research before hand though).

P.S. How many will be coming in TVR's etc????....interesting to see bike racks on them!

Apologies if I called some of you "Ben". My cut and paste idea worked a little too well....if you know what I mean!

Does that mean if I haven't got a TVR I am not welcome?

Hope to be there, but I will be one of the pushers who will hand back and make everyone else look good!

I'll try my best to be there - does anyone know if an FSR XC Stumpie will fit in the boot of a Chim?
Schnozz - did your beastie fit in your Chim?

There is a MTB area in the lookout which is a quite wide (car width) gravel track. This goes in a circle (not sure how far though), inside this there is lots of tricky stuff depending how brave you are.

To the south of the Look Out is an area called Surrey Hill, with some fun single track work. IIRC, when (if) you get a permit (£1.50) they give you a photocopied map showing some of the areas.

IIRC - 10:00 AM at the Look Out, Bracknell Forest.

Could be wet, map might be of some use.

Hi guys, can't wait for Saturday, this is going to be a great laugh! Me and my housemate are coming back from Loughborough for this! Meeting at 10am at the Lookout, roger over and out.

Edited to ask is the a proper map of the trails around? Whenever I go I just get lost until I find one of 2 bits that i know how to get out from!

Top stuff Fer!

Just printed out some maps and laminated them (courtesy of work), so we should be able to get some decent routes sorted.

I don't know if it's a bit late but who'd be up for getting there an hour earlier? The rain seems to be on for about 12pm'ish and the morning is clear so could be better?

Let me all know!
