Golf 7 R; new addition to the household fleet
Discussion
Recently got a manual Golf 7 R for the wife as a run-around, and I have to say, its surprisingly good.
Will do a full review at some point, but A-B on London roads there cant be many cars that are more effective (or more confidence inspiring in UK weather).
The engine between 2-3k rpm sounds great (really throaty; think K&N airbox - like), and I have yet to unsettle it in the corners. The way this car corners is something else.
I haven't tested yet, but I suspect 0-40/50 mph there wouldn't be much in it between the Golf and its mate from Munich.
Pic of the fleet. ~900hp, and 8 exhausts.
