Well, they are probably correct in that it is the current largest flying boat. Having said that, how big is it compared to the Japanese Shin Meiwa naval patrol boats - which it looks very similar too?.

Of course, we built a monster flying boat too, the Saro Princess.

Amphibians can take off and land from land or water. Flying boats and seaplanes can only operate from water.
