To all and sundry. Hope today brings you at least a little happiness!

Enjoy it everyone. It comes but once a year.

Hope Santa doesn't suffer a bird strike. Hope he enjoys emptying his sack in all of the children's bedrooms.

Why is Rudolph at the front if his nose is red? Shouldn't he be at the rear?

Why is his nose red anyway? Did he stick it up another deer's ass and get an infection?

Why are last year's Christmas presents called presents now? Shouldn't they be past?

Is the Yule log cake based on a tree or a boxing day bowel movement?

Sprouts fear Christmas like turkey's do. Weren't sprouts originally weapons that have been tamed as a food source? A bit like candy g-strings?

I do believe I have gone off at a tangent. Happy new year!

Lol,

Firstly re the title, most days I have to try very very hard to be an old <insert C word>. The rest of the days I decide to behave myself as it's not worth the trouble. Clearly to some posters it's no trouble, being a old bunch of 'that word' comes quite naturally.

Re Season's Greetings, yeah that too you miserable set of old bandits. Enjoy it, keep safe if you're out and about.

Finally, after the sprouts, chestnut stuffing, various rich and tasty foods, chocolates and gawd knows what else, we will be expecting some tales of derring do on the Appalling Flatulence thread. Get to it, disgust your family. Show the dog who is boss in the trouser toot department.

Merry Christmas.

Merry Christmas one and all.

I, for one, am always disappointed that Marvin the brown nosed reindeer always gets overlooked at this time of year. He’s the one who goes right at the back, he’s just as fast as all the others but his brakes don’t work quite as well.

And there was I thinking it was Bruno the brown-nosed reindeer (his brakes aren’t so good).

Every day’s a school day.

I may have cocked up.

You know the seem in Love Actually where Emma Thompson opens a present, it's a CD instead of the expected neckless. She disappears upstairs to have a little cry then pulls it back together.

Well this was Mrs PR this morning. (A Christmas spatula instead of a CD though)

I'm going to be very careful for the rest of the day.

Am I the only one who's a tad concerned at the prospect of Santa emptying his sack in children's bedrooms?
Zut alors, the Papa Noël of my Gallic influenced childhood would never have contemplated the thought.
