London Stansted to Liverpool Street

Chaps and Chapettes...
To add a bit of excitement to our lives, the Mrs and I have decided to fly in to the UK tomorrow, Salzburg to London...For an extra gamble we've decided to fly Ryanair...what can I say, its more exciting than putting betting on red...
Anyway, we are sans car; which leaves us with the train to get down to The Big Smoke...
What's the best (read: cheapest) way to get down to the big smoke?
A few years back you could buy the tickets on the plane at a discounted price, is that option still available?
Cheers

Well, there's only three real ways to get into town.
Stansted Express, National Express (other coach companies may be available)or a cab.
Left it a bit late to get an advanced super saver type fare but they're maybe a few promo codes out there. Flew Ryanair to Stansted a few months ago and there was no mention of cheapo tickets.
Good luck and have fun!
Eta, the coach takes 45-50 minutes to get to Stratford, then jump on the tube. (Done it a few weeks ago when trains were knackered
