I'm probably living in Dreamland thinking about either of these but would be interested to know which would you go for between a Macan (used) Vs Stelvio (new)?
Engine must be diesel due to high miles per year.

The OH had the Macan S diesel & it was a very nice car but from what I've seen of the Alfa I'd take that everytime also consider the Maserati Levante all three are nice places to be only a test drive will give you a definitive answer.

Sat in a Stelvio - didn't impress me like the Porsche did. Add on to that the woeful service from the local dealer when trying to sell me the car, and for me it's the Pork all day.

+1 for the Macan, although our is a GTS. The interior quality makes everything else feel second rate. Plus the residuals are excellent.

Would take the Maserati because it has the best badge.

If I was shelling out that much cash, I’d take the best car, not the best badge. Macan for me.

I'd also take a look at the Audi SQ5 as they're in budget (unlike, I suspect, the Maser).

Levante is fine in isolation, drive a Macan, F-pace (and maybe the Stelvio) afterwards and it'll put into perspective how average the Levante is.

I'd want to have a decent drive in the Stelvio before going down the Macan route.

cheers

From those 2 I’d pick the Macan.

Another suggestion - have you considered the new xc60? It’s a lovely looking car - inside and out. No 6 cylinder engine though, only comes in a 4 pot which will probably put a lot of people off.
