Hi All,

Got a set of these wireless headphones for Xmas.

https://en-uk.sennheiser.com/rs-165

Great for me to watch TV if the Mrs gets an early night... so I thought.

However, I'm getting static when streaming to smart TV (Amazon Prime). This is a frustration as that is my main source of viewing these days! It's low level, but present when navigating menus etc (assuming when data is being transmitted) and every 20-30 secs when viewing.

Not much on the web, would have expected some others to have had this same issue as not an unusual application and a fairly common model headphone.

Anyone else has such an issue or know of a solution?

NB: I'm using Google WIFI and both this and the headphones claim to search for unused bandwidth.

Despite the flood of technical insight on here wink, I've sorted it...

It was the TV.

For some reason the onboard TV wifi receiver was sending the static via 3.5mm jack.

I tested it on the two other TVs in the house an no issue at all.
