Ford Puma or Mk3 MX5 2.0?

I am thinking of changing my daily car soon. I have looked at both of these on Autotrader, etc. Which would you say is better to run day to day? Which would you choose? Thanks

Fun to drive. Not too bad on fuel (anything around 35mpg and above in normal use).

Both great cars, my choice would be the Puma because the 1.7 engine is just superb .

Thing is though with a Puma you either need to set aside some budget to get the inevitable rust done asap or try and find a rust-free one which is a tough job.

What's your budget ?

Obviously ones front and the others rear wheel drive not sure if that's important to you or not , i think the biggest decider would be which car you can find local with the least rust.

I'd add a clio 172/182 to your list , everything the puma does but they don't rust like pumas.
