That is actually very nicely done, despite my best efforts I can't find anything wrong with it!

Had a quick look and it looks decent. All done on HTTPS which is good, delivery options are clearly detailed and easy to find proper contact details to speak to somebody

Ditto smile

If you want the mobile site to have an address bar that matches your brand colours then add a manifest.json file and link to it in the head of the pages. This will also solve the lack of a site icon for all browsers. This is nit picking but these items are picked up by Google - make what you want of that.

Good work though and good luck with the site - interested to hear how it goes.

Looks good, https, only thing I would say is that if possible I'd be doing a bit more to make it obvious from the home page that it's a legit website.

Or ignore me and it's just too much of my working life spent looking at dodgy websites and emails offering cheap pills smile

I agree here. It has the kind of look you'd expect from a fake pills website. The hyphenated URL really doesn't help matters either and I don't think you're doing your overall image any favours by deciding to cut corners with the crappy URL name and not pay for the correct TLD (which is for sale - homepharmacy.co.uk). What are you going to do if someone buys the available TLD and sets up an online pharmacy of their own with the same name?

Regarding the website content itself, I'm not sure what's happening as it flashes too fast, but upon loading the home page I very briefly see 4 boxes flash up then instantly get replaced with the cough, cold and flu remedies page filler. One of them is for skincare but I'm not quick enough to read what the others are. Needs fixing.

Also virtually every entry under the toiletries menu links back to the home page rather than the product.

When you select list view for the items, only about half of the list have 'add to cart' buttons, particularly under the medicines menu.

While many people know that you can pay with a credit card or debit card through Paypal without needing a Paypal account, there's a lot more than don't. Only seeing a Paypal logo for the payment screens just makes it look even more like a fake pills site. Lose the Paypal logo and change it for the Visa and Mastercard one (an option in Paypal itself I do believe). Whilst the underlying payment processor is still the same, it will look more legit and professional.

I've got some minor annoyance with the image handling where images have clearly been increased and reduced in size to suit your design and layout needs, but most of them look like crap - either overly blurry and low res from blowing them up too large or jaggy from reducing them too much.

I don't like the overbearing image filling the entire home page screen, especially not when all the products in the image are blurry and low res. The 'shop now' button is completely lost and looks stupid in that location. I don't see the need for the image of the medicines at all personally. Also if you don't scroll down on the home page it looks like the site only caters for cough, cold and flu remedies.

I feel like your 'about us' page should be part of your menu bar. It's only found from scrolling down 2.5 (desktop) screens on the home page which, given the above issue will mean that most people probably won't ever scroll down that far to see it. Also, there is far too much waffle on the page. I'm not known for having a short attention span like the majority of folks these days, but even I got bored reading that after the second screenful. No-one is going to bother reading all that and in fact half of it shouldn't even be there (delivery info, T&Cs, should be on their own separate pages). The occasional blue sub-headers do absolutely nothing to break up the wall of text. If you want people to read that page then you need to work out some way of displaying it better imo.

Really can't agree with this. The hyphenated vs non-hyphenated domain debate has never thrown-up hyphenated = crappy, non-hyphenated = correct.

The majority of traffic to most sites come from links, either those served by search engines or those in social media, bloggs, other web pages etc. The URL itself is seldom keyed in. As a website owner we want our URL to be instantly readable if seen in a link. Which is more readable: homepharmacy or home-pharmacy? On this measure alone the crappy vs correct argument has no merit.

The homepharmacy.co.uk domain is for sale from a speculator so its cost will be many times more than a regular registration fee. The benefits, if any are simply not worth it and not quantifiable.

Thanks for the feedback so far - Keep it coming please!

Some of it can (and will) be altered - Some however is a legal requirement for a legal Online Pharmacy website I.E. All the "About Us" bumph.

I see what you mean Ted2 with regard to the banner - it does need reducing and the CTA altering.

Some categories are still empty hence the loop back to the home page - sheer volume of products to work through.

I've concentrated on getting the main "medicines" categories more complete, 300 products "live" and easily 2200 more to go......

Trust and Legitimacy; All the links are on the site to the UK regulatory bodies - need to make them more obvious.

No requests for Viagra............ yet evil

This is really a first world problem but on a high res screen the banner image looks quite strongly/poorly compressed, my eye was drawn to it immediately.

Here's what I mean: https://i.imgur.com/0DhXw0P.jpg

EDIT: meh someone else mentioned it already, nevermind biggrin

This ^^^^

Just a quick question. Say you ask for a medicine to be delivered, won't your cold already be gone or in fact a little better by the time it has arrived? Even if its next day delivery?

I think this a great idea and I can image you supplying a lot of people, but after the website fix, find a way to deliver same day. smile

All the best.

Push the "About Us" and "MHRA verification" right to the top of the page. Build *trust* in under 1 second. Nobody has heard of your website.

Delivery is way too slow. When I've got a cold, I want the meds *now*. They must be same-day delivery, or next-morning latest. If you cannot do that, I'm going to Amazon Prime or the local Tesco Express.

You've gotta massively up your game here.

It's still a bit rubbish.

Good luck.

Yes because the image is 1,400px × 613px (scaled to 1,903px × 833px)

menu is not centred

Menu simply does not work e.g. Hover Medicines, go in a straight line to Fever and you end up somewhere else because you have hovered over another category

The difference between checkout and the Paypal button is not clear

I think the site is good but some of the feedback above is worth noting and some points made; I was thinking myself.

The PayPal logo needs card logos next to it to make it clear that cards are accepted, albeit though PayPal.

The about us page is fine I feel and I like the personal touch; if there’s a way to get some of that at the top of the home page, to build trust and act as an anchor.

Domain name wise; it’s fine to use the hyphenated domain - BUT I would be purchasing the non hyphen domain and have it point at your website. Trust me on this; you don’t want someone else buying that domain. I’ve personally spent thousands on a domain name, in the past; in the very same situation.

I see you’re LTD co is T/A - may be worth securing the name / phrase ‘Home Pharmacy’ in some other way; perhaps even a trademark; very easy to do. Surprisingly so. Just thought I’d mention it.

To add; forget what I said about the TM, because there’s an existing TM that might oppose any application; and so might be worth leaving that alone:

^^^ Bold worth taking note of. Someone buying and using that non-hyphenated domain could really ruin your day (and your business).

Absolutely has potential, where is the domain offered for sale? It's not clear to me - but i'm not in the business of buying and selling domains.

You can make an offer through the domain itself. Of course; any email you enter should NOT have any pharmacy related word in it; keep it neutral and don’t let them sniff that it’s of value to you. In any case; expect them to want a SILLY amount of money. You can offer a start offer of $100 to perhaps set the bar low whilst not looking like a rookie. But don’t be surprised if they come back with many thousands! I’m no expert but I’d guess you could pay upwards of $500 - through to a few grand for it. It being .co.uk and not .com is in your favour as they are of only real use to someone operating in the UK. .com being universal would be a lot more.

I'd echo many of the points above but have a more specific query too.

The about us makes reference to NHS England, the delivery page makes reference to delivery times (including Scottish postcodes) and there are various mentions of 'NHS', 'UK' etc. What's not clear is if you service the entire UK or not.

As a Scot I'd assume not, simply because there's nothing telling me that you do (that I saw). As you'll know we have our own system, including prescription rules etc. A 'UK wide delivery' or similar message on the homepage would address this.
