Broken mirror glass

What bits do I need to buy to repair this? The glass is cracked as well. Fell off overnight, one of those things I guess. Mind you, its hardly secured well, is it?

I pulled all the sticky stuff away, it looks as though the black plastic that sticks to the mirror glass and also clips into the mirror housing has broken clips (hence the sticky stuff).

Ah well I fixed the black bit, pulled the heated element from the back of the mirror (took bloody ages with a long sharp knife), so I presume its just a CX25 mirror glass?

FFS. Anyone know where to order one online? Or should I just go to a TVR dealer?

POD don't know if this will help much, but I remembered that there was one for sale on e-bay. It's sold now, but you may be able to get the seller to tell you where it came from etc.
Also the picture might help as it appears to have been made by "Summit", can't make out the rest but it may help.

Go to halfrauds and order a replacement mirror made by Summit ref SRG-40 comes with stickum.

Fits, you will be interested to hear DB7,Marcos Mantera, and TVR - so you are in good company

The quoted ref is for Driver's RHS - i guess n/s would be SRG something else!

They have to order - 3 working days - £6.49

Not heated, but who needs heated...

I have the heated element bit here beside me, so if the mirror comes without one I'll just superglue this onto it It might not work as well, but hey it'll still work a bit

I don't even know if they WILL fit.

But do not despair, if they don't fit I'll cut you an ordinary one to fit your drivers side.

Thanks Al, I've just discovered there is a Citroen place about 2 miles from here, so I'll check if they have one in stock tomorrow. If not, I'll drop you a line.

Big big round of applause for Big Al for sending me some top notch mirror glasses. They're curved as well as being slightly blue (anti dazzle). They really suit the car.

Let me know how you get on fitting them.
Just a hint (not that it's needed of course) stick the heater to the mirror and add two thicknesses of pads to compensate for the curvature if needed.
