Anyone tried this place? One of these opened a couple of weeks ago just round the corner tired it a couple of times and got to say its pretty weird!

The coffee is not that good yet gets rave reviews its got a really bitter taste and their late is almost a black coffee! The double double is ok but basically extra sugar and a bit of carnation milk.

Will give it a go again but not sure if its going to do well in the UK..

The tim bits are good though biggrin

Never heard of them until last week.

They have just opened up in Bury in a large unit vacated by Mothercare.

Seems to be doing pretty well.

The breakfast is similar to McDonalds but they put some kid of strange sauce on it. I suspect the hash browns are oven cooked.
Its less greasy but not sure if that's a good thing for a hang over cure!

Where is this?

Tim Hortons in Canada is AWESOME!

I always go ( many times) when I visit my sis in Vancouver and I've said on here that if it opened in the U.K. in the same format it would be a sensation.

The key though us the format, it's very blue collar, great menu at great prices.

Tried them in Canada and it was a bit of an odd experience and not sure its one I would seek out in the UK. Just looked up where they have started and appears odd to me to have multiple places in a couple of cities rather than spread themselves out. Wonder when they will get to London.

The one in Bury is pants, nothing like the Canadian ones. It had too many staff - literally more staff than customers and the coffee was no different to Costa.

The Canadian ones on the other hand are the best I’ve ever had.

Rumour had it, Mr Horton used to line them with Cocaine to get people addicted 😂

Tim Horton's was excellent in Canada ad I shall look forward to trying one in the UK.

The Blueberry fritters were to die for but they stopped producing them a couple of years ago with no explanation.

It’s about par with Greggs. I’ve never actually been in the one here but someone brought some of the little doughnut things into work, they’re alright.

Yeah prices similar to Mcds so not expensive. I think the food is less processed but the flavours are pretty odd for UK tastes IMHO.

Tim's in Canada is great!

(Good!) coffee, juice, sausage and egg muffin and hash browns - about CA$6

I'd be surprised if it took off properly in the UK?
