Use of minutes on company provided landline
Discussion
OK, quick question for those in the know.
I have a land line which is provided by my employer for business use - They provide unlimited broadband on that line and also pay an extra fixed amount for unlimited national and mobile calls.
Would I be liable for tax as a benefit in kind if I use the broadband for personal use, and also use the phone, as on the bill the cost is identified as zero.
The bill is in the name of my employer if that makes any difference.
Thanks in advance
