Why was my thread deleted?

While I get that some of these Ask an anything are a windup, my Surveyor one was not, and was getting some decent responses. Yet it was deleted as you don't want anymore...

And jokey subsequent ones survive...

What gives mods? Some consistency would be nice.

Wasn't there also a thread here in web feedback about the number of 'Ask a....' threads and discussing them that's also gone?

As for your question surveyor, it does seem odd that yours went and others have stayed.

There are far too many threads of this nature running at present and many members have asked for them to be curtailed.

Just think of the Lounge filled with these, and where do we draw the line?
