Thought I'd bump this as I'm struggling! Not as easy as some other manufacturers...
I'm after a build/options list for a 2015 car and all the decoders I've tried don't seem to get much further than basic info.
On Audi's approved used site you can download a 4 page pdf for each car with full options listed - is there any way to achieve this level of info via the interweb?
TIA

Yes, ask me. Just seen your email, I'll zip a build sheet back to you.
Despite the common answer "use one of a million online decoders" they simply do not work. I think a more likely result of using these is your chassis number ending up on a stolen, smashed, and glued together A7 somewhere in Siberia

...and to answer this question yes, but not for free. Anyone can buy an erwin session but it is not user friendly and the interface has a bit of a learning curve. It's useful also to have a brochure to cross-check option codes against as the written descriptions are not helpful.:
For example:
Spoiler roof - sunroof
Reinforced bumpers - full body colour coding
Comfort telephone - Audi phone box
The same system will show you service records (and any other technical data relating to the car you can think of).
