Congratulations to LNT TVR.

The two TVR's finished 1st & 2nd at Spa 1000k with a convincing win and 8th & 10th overall!

Racesports came 8th in GT2 and 17th overall.

A great day for the ex TVR Brits too, with Shorty & Rob Barff with Rollcentre coming 3rd
overall and Bob Berridge and Gareth Evans with
Chamberlain Synergy 1st in LMP2.

cracking race,

well done LNT, it's a great shame they'll not be at the LM 24hrs. some sort of discrepancy with ownership means they don't qualify.

great shame.

Can't agree more, Well done boys!!!!
We were there watching the race,(when you could see the cars through the thick fog that shrouded the place
all day).
We were the mob waving The TVR motor sport flag like mad down on the track just opposite the podium, thanks for waving back lads
Gcerb...What kind of a journey did you have home ?

Well done lads! At last something truly concrete (or silver perhaps) to show for all the hard work.

I wasn't there Dave, I went to Spa a few weeks back with work and had to work here over the weekend, so it was TV and lap top for me!

I was thinking about what kind of journey back you would have as the TV said
the whole of Belgium and France was under the fog.

Hi Graham,
The journey home was horrible to say the least.
We had fog all the way home,You could hardly see the car in front, you were quite literally driving by the fog light's of the car's in front the whole way back to the Chunnel.
Then on driving out on this side, it rained all the way back to Essex,
We had a brilliant blat through the Dartford Tunnel though!! The Griff sounded so bloody loud Simon!!

Sounds a rough end to a great weekend, bet it wiped you all out?

Will you be going over to the Ring?

This is TVR's first international win - and it's a 1-2 at that! - and it's the first time in eons that the Porsche/Ferrari stranglehold on GT2 has been broken at this level.

It's not gone unnoticed that the inaugural LMES round LMP1 and GT2 winners aren't at the 24H...

Great news, I'd love to have been there despite the fog.

Where's Ted's write up about this though? Coming soon I hope.

I don't think so (at the moment anyway).
Still totally shagged from the long drive yesterday.
