We made a rather tasty curry last night (sorry, no pics) and the cooking smell is lingering. The smell has permeated.

We've got the kitchen window open, so fresh air is coming in, but the smell is still faintly there.

Any tips or how to get rid of the whiff?

A liberal spraying of patience throughout the house. Should go after a day. Unless you spilled some on the carpet.

This, I cook a curry fairly often, the smell is still there in the morning, by the evening, it's gone.

Neutradol if freshener should do it, get the gel one, it makes an amusing noise when you shake it...

Defecate into an old sweaty sports sock and hang it up in front of an oscillating fan.

Our Asian friends use Oud air freshener.

They have bought us a few cans and it works !!

We are partial to a nice home cooked Curry smile

It’s available on Amazon.

Open all windows on all floors for most of the day should help? May be cold but you will have to live with that.

For the next time - open windows/doors along with extractor fans whilst cooking, I think it is the steam coming off that penetrates rather than the eating/future warming up.

The smell will go. Nothing more than time and patience needed.

Stick a pan of water on the hob and bring it to the boil.

Once it is boiling, sprinkle in some powdered cinnamon.

This works at getting rid of nearly all unpleasant kitchen odours I have found.

Ask in the NPE forum. One of our resident racists will know the answer to this issue.

Just be prepared for a long answer.

Me. I'd just open a window.
