Sitting in the Gate last night (big entertainment venue in Newcastle) waiting for the film to start loads of wee lassies came in wearing costumes. The first lot looked somewhat suitable in superwoman outfits and the like, then there was was cowboys and indians and then someone wearing this costume:

oh yes, she wore it very well.

There was another lass in the dress that all the vampires wear in the movies when they are trying to represent the 19th century and she wore that very well.

Then there was plenty of lass with skirts so short you couldn't help but wonder if they were in a costume, but apparently they were just townies

it did persuade me that I need to carry my camera at all times mind
