Piling through the configurator and came to the 'painted key fob with leather pouch', yours for £248! Obvious question is what you get without this option? Ta.

you get two black plastic keys with chrome tops, and a free keyring from the OPC with your coffee.

You can buy pouches after market if you want one, but never really saw the point.
Maybe if you own 3+ 911's then it'd handy to know which key belongs to which car - but other than that I don't see the point.

Key shells from £5 from various eBay sellers: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Colour-Plastic-KEY-Cove...

At that price you won't need to bother with a pouch to protect it.

Anyway, I think the key looks best in regular black.

My dealer warned me about this....the painted keys look good for a while but they will definitely chip..waste of money.

OH fancied the colour keys and to be fair , the dealer told me they would chipsmile Actually I did idly consider a wrap but was afraid the wouldn't fit!. I really don't care though. At some point the chips will be so bad that I will just replace the case for a standard black one. Can be done in five minutes.

I'm sure I read somewhere that they are repainted FOC by Porsche if you bought the factory painted keys?

No idea but would just chip again anyway. The actual car is properly protected though!

Alady friend of mine took my two black plastic 991 RS Keys to the nail bar she frequents, she returned with two outstanding Lava Orange keys which don't chip.

Thanks Bridgit !
