Nice shots, but I thought today was an RS owners day?

It was, but the RWYB was open to all cars as always.

First one is definitely a blinder! Love the composition. I like some of the light effects you can get from the shed - this is one of my better efforts from the European finals a couple of years ago:

phil, i realy like the first one. Just the right mood. What method do/did you use for b&w ? Mine always turn out so flat.

Photoshop -> Desaturate.

Everyone likes the first one, I actually prerred the second shot where I purposely tried to shrink the car into the bottom right corner, and I love the shadow over the back.

Will put some more shots up tomorrow if I get a minute

the first shot is excellent. the only irritation is the bmw in the shot, the place of the car is perfect but i'd of preferred that to be something else.

i also like the b/w making the shot almost industrial in quality. the naff santa pod sign fits in pefectly, and the whole shot has "on with business" quality of firing cars down a 1/4 mile stretch. nothing romantic, just a raw edge.

i'm beginning to ramble. i'll leave...

I think that first shot has a hint of "Top Gun!" to it. Just the way they're lined up ready for the off.

One to be proud of mate

I'm not sure what to call this effect, un-selective colour maybe?

Mark

I like your shot. It has a sort of old quality to - like old '60s photos of Le Mans.

Oh, and another vote for photo 1.
